That day, I was driving past Nanhegang when I happened to have some time to spare, so I decided to stop and take a walk.
I spent part of my childhood in the countryside, and rural landscapes have always held a natural attraction for me.
The countryside in Jiangnan has changed greatly over the years. Even now, when I happen to drive through the countryside, certain scenes still make me want to stop and take a closer look. The fields, roads, houses, and trees feel both familiar and unfamiliar, and I often find myself thinking: How did the countryside become this beautiful?
