ENGLISH
On the Mid-Autumn Festival, our photo walk took us to Luxu Ancient Town in the morning as planned. It is one of those old towns that has not yet been completely commercialized. There are few noisy commercial streets or carefully designed social-media photo spots. Instead, there is a stronger sense of everyday local life.
The waterways, old bridges, small shops, old houses, and the people who still live here seem to slow time down. As I walked through the streets and along the waterways, I often found myself thinking about many moments from the past.
I first finished the remaining film in my EOS 50, shooting a little over twenty frames, and then switched to the Sony RX1R II. Luxu turned out to be larger than I had expected, and by the time we left as planned, we still had not explored the whole town. I would like to come back again when I have the chance.
This is the digital version of the walk, photographed with the Sony RX1R II. The film version will follow after the roll has been developed and scanned.
